Clarification and Intent ZMC’s Graduation Experience:

* Please note that the graduation Experience is a benefit for students that demonstrate excellence within the program. This an award and a symbol of the student’s demonstration of academic excellence. If at any point in the student’s education attendance drops below 90%, final course scores drop below 85% or a student violates school conduct code or policies, the student will be disqualified from the graduation award experience. It is reasonable for every dedicated student to earn this award.

Along with greater cultural and self-understanding, this graduation award gives our graduates additional complementary and continuing education experience. The graduation award experience is not an entitlement nor is it a part of the core 900 hour program. Again, this is a post-graduation recognition reward for students that meet all requirements in demonstrating academic and personal excellence. If a student fails to meet the requirements for the award by: falling below 90% in attendance in his/her classes, receiving a final course score of less than 85% or by violating school policy, the student will no longer be eligible to attend a Graduation Experience.

**Once an eligible ZMC graduate selects a graduation experience and flights are purchased, the student must continue with the chosen graduation experience or may choose to forgo the graduation experience. Attendance cannot be transferred to another graduation experience once a trip is selected and agreed upon by the student and ZMC.
